The Hotel Heritage was born as a member of the select elite of 5-star luxury hotels in the capital and is part of the prestigious French Association Relais & Châteaux, being the second hotel in Madrid.

It has been entirely decorated by the prestigious interior designer Lorenzo Castillo, AD award for best Decorator 2014, among others, who wanted to give the hotel an urban, cosmopolitan and eminently timeless character, avoiding fleeting trends.

Its seemingly classic language plays with a surprising mix of fabrics and colors with noble materials such as lacquered wood, polychrome marbles that combine in perfect harmony with large velvet benches, hand-painted wallpapers according to the 18th century French technique, embroidered curtains with trimmings that give it an eclectic and fresh air which serves to house a magnificent collection of European antiques and works of art from the 18th to the late 19th centuries.

Among which are a green marble fireplace dating from 1830 at the entrance as well as the Louis XVI style clock that rests on it. The welcome is provided by an imposing Roman torso in neoclassical style and a magnificent canvas of Carlos III belonging to the first period of Mengs as a clear tribute and inspiration to the city of Madrid, claiming its abundant artistic and cultural heritage, as well as its customs and delicious gastronomy.

Mario Sandoval (2 Michelin Stars) is in charge of its gastronomic offer as Executive Chef of the Hotel Heritage to pour all his savoir faire that reflects his passion for the best raw materials, recovers traditional flavors with the most avant-garde techniques, respects and enhances the flavor of each ingredient in each and every one of the dishes on the menu to create a sophisticated, exquisite and current menu that brings its diners closer to the pleasure of haute cuisine.

The restaurant is located at street level adorned by large windows that give natural light throughout the day.

It is located on the ground floor of the hotel between the restaurant and the hall, it is an intimate and versatile space to have a coffee or a drink quietly and away from the madding crowd.

Hidden from view and flanked by 2 unique outdoor terraces on the 7th floor, it is the ideal place to enjoy a delicious cocktail in an intimate and relaxed environment.

Each of the terraces are open spaces full of fresh flowers and plants, both are presided over by 2 charming 19th century French fountains that accompany with the relaxing sound of water. The balustrades are original to the building with sinuous shapes that evoke the 20s.
